Due to the downturn in Global Markets, the decline in the domestic market today. Due to North Korea dispute, all Asian markets including Japan, South Korea, broken up to 1%. Sensex and Nifty have slipped more than 0.5 percent. In today’s trading, the Nifty was rolled out to 9861 other hand Sensex dived to 31560.32. In the end of market the Nifty closed above 9900, while the Sensex has lost nearly 200 points Today.
Mid-cap and Smallcap stocks also saw the pressure of selling. The BSE mid-cap index has closed down 0.7 percent, while the Nifty mid-cap index 100 index weakened 0.75 percent. BSE’s smallcap index closed down 0.7 percent.
Banking, Auto, FMCG, IT, realty, capital goods, oil & Gas and power stocks have worked to put pressure on the market. Bank Nifty closed 0.8 percent down at 24,237 level. Nifty’s auto index has been down 0.8%, FMCG Index has 0.6% and IT Index has declined 0.7%. BSE Realty Index has dropped 1.4 percent, Capital Goods Index 0.75 percent, Oil and Gas Index 0.8 percent and Power Index 0.7 percent.
The BSE 30-share index Sensex closed at 31,702, with a weak 190 points, or 0.6 percent. On the other hand, NSE’s 50-share index Nifty closed 61.5 points, or 0.6 percent, at 9,913 level Today.
